A paragon of parody,
engrossed by wry hilarity,
rests to contemplate posterity.
Oh me, oh my! Said following a
sigh.Where does time go when it
passes you by? The ever present
smile set above a laced bow tie.
He's been caught up in the joke,
and boisterous laughter did evoke.
Performing somersaults,
tumbling like a spinning spoke.
Donned in costume for effect,
all the while composure kept.
Thinking best to grin and bear it,
and his timing not neglect.
A clown's lessons learned in fun,
brought together with a pun.
This grand comedy of errors, and
enjoyment, has been spun.

Life is meant to be enjoyed, not just endured.

A rolling. spinning cadence makes this work well. And the spinning spokes idea made it into a weekend afternoon naptime dream for this reader, so I owe you a comment! Good job.
