Rosebud In the garden All I see is an eye It can't be the truth I know it's a lie But even still I walk in to see Now I am trapped I am no longer free I knew it was wrong And now I am shamed My heart starts to beat And now it is flamed I can't move my legs My arms start to shake I feel as if I am about to break I look all around And there it is That thing I came for But now it is His I bow down to Him And ask just once more Please let me out Please open the door The door starts to open And my feet start to walk My mouth opens But I can no longer talk For more poems visit my website at www.wordsbybeth.com |
