today the shimmer trees are quiet women
without nylons on, standing impatiently
at the virtual brim of oceanic smilage

demonstrating their curve jewelry
and green eye mystery place glances
like dancers staged to be stage trim

there is no wind to strum their songs
no resounding tide to shiver foundations
only some freshly painted quiet white

decorating yawning blue sky drifts of dawn
in pale proper and pasted promenade pause
before a prayer is whispered into breezes

and they catch god's eye in foliated fingers

hmmm, not so quiet, everywhere...
but I'm glad it's calm in yours

Another subtle shift of light
and your palet paints
her softest shades
by your open window
in the Daark

Heading down to the beach right now, got my cooler, my beach chair and my book.
Think I'll take your poem with me and dream those little dreams.

...you know the ones.

Hugs big guy....Love your stuff!!
