Looking out at the ocean, I let memories go.
Drifting away softly, with the tides ebb
and flow. This momentary mystery, of life,
is left to history.Others can deduce,
and others may decide. I stare across the
rolling waves, with my eyes opened wide.
Glorious it is, to bask in such wonders.
As thoughts churning inside focus sharp
on past blunders. The time it is now to cut
away built up pride, cast out the ego, to turn out
the inside. I seek some small solace, and in
silence I cope. To grasp love through distant
haze, I hang on to hope. Some way,
I'll find it, all will come in due course.
Perhaps finding insight,in viewing the source.

Life is meant to be enjoyed, not just endured.

Nice read, loved the first two lines and the last line finished it off nicely. Enjoyed.
