under sighing bows of bending palm fingers
over by the sun fish fountain musical
where shimmer plays with the shadow strums
and waits for gold shifts in it's whispering

she steps jaunty along her afternoon
of bronze and gold and then those curves
somewhere the blues are lingering on glass
perhaps the soot man plays his sax songs

and the lady of palms sways her sighs
then slips into a coveting ocean of jewelry
only the echoes of her footsteps linger behind
and a kiss of perfume that baits the blind

and the gods that dream they are her cellos

rich.... in the elements of imagery and metaphor.. one could easily hear the sax man playing and smell the perfume she left behind..

enjoyed sir, as always

she seems the personification of a dream love.
