My life a joyless pit of despair. Full of agony and pain. A life that contains no happiness. Shut up in a dark room. Searching for light, finding none. To afraid to make the darkness eternal. Searching, always searching. For what? No one knows. No reason to continue. But that glimmer is irresistible. If only I could reach it, things may be better. The glimmer seems to fade, like a rainbow. So close yet so far away. The darkness goes on forever. |

Always keep in mind the "glimmer" and cling to it. Let dawn inspire you, it's a new day and the day can unfold beautifully if you allow it, by removing your thoughts of darkness. You say it well... it happens to all humans, but we must not "fall into the trap" ... we are in a world of duality ... no darkness without light and no light without darkness. Choose now! That glimmer is hard to keep in sight sometimes no matter how hard you reach for it. I hope brighter days come soon! -- Used to be rosepetals25  I never know what to say when I reply to a poem, so ignore the lameness! |
