Forgotten

We are still just the same
Even after all these years

Still looking for a name
To place upon our fears

A boogie man to blame
Not what is in our mirrors

We just don't feel the shame
Or care about the tears

To gone from wince we came
As everything nears

Forgotten all the same
Redemption disappears

There is something haunting about this that makes it wonderfully too close for comfort. Touching. ebm

I won't say hang in there, Juju, but do endeavor to persevere!

This really is a bit of a haunting write, so I do appreciate that when you deliberately substitute spellings (such as "wince" for whence), you do so up-front and honestly. Thanks.

Redemption disapppears is quite a thing to say but if individuals choose to play the blame on everything and everyone except themselves than they truly are lost.
