Eight years ago, one year after nine/eleven,
I hugged a friend in Falmouth, Cape Cod.
My first encounter with a blue page poet,
we ate a burger (I think), and talked a lot.

Next day was the day that will not be forgotten,
by the people, in all corners of each land.
Thousands had lost their lifes the year before
and still we can not understand.

Just watched a documentary on my telly,
made by two brothers that very same day,
not knowing their New York fire fighters story,
would let them see Hell, in the most awful way.

I keep in my heart the most precious memories,
of the time, spend with people I came to love.
Tomorrow I will burn lots of candles,
for the thousands and three poet friends above.

Our poets meeting will always be bonded,
with what happened on that nine/eleventh day,
the sadness and those treasured moments,
I cherish them all, in my own way.

Like scattered leaves...my words will flow

In your own way, my dear friend...
we thank you for your memories of
what you knew from around the world...
knowing it was hurting others...

We, all of us world-round,
have a long way to go.

Thank you.

So true Karilea and I'm sad to say that I will not be proud to be a Dutchie, when one political party leader, will speak his awful tongue in New York on Saturday. Those are the most dangerous people as it comes to trying to establish world peace. And the sad thing too is, that a lot of people in my country voted for this party. Will they never learn?

Wouldn't it be a nice thought if they would build a mosk, a church and a synagoge around ground zero?

Thank you. Thank YOU and all who have given.
You do justice in words, as they have done in times of tragedy.

A small reminder, if permitted:

Towers blasted open wide.
Glass shattered and fallen, past
planes appearing to glide.
Our true feelings, as a nation
we hide. The pain swells, and
infinitesimal, I feel inside.
