ME. In the Shadow of the Mt.

Can a dream be fullfilled?
One of having a soulmate
to love and care for as you always wanted
In this storyland of passion and sex,
so wanting of one another...

A picturesuqe setting of living
in an old victorian castle (camelot)
Fireplaces offering a radiant red-orange blase of warmth,
as the dark Feburary blizzards cast heavy bound snow
to the wailing winds...days passing
Watching the mixed colors of spring flowers
and the red, yellow roses as they bloom
across the thick dark green studded lawns
Sitting on a porch, sipping on a cold refreshing drink,
as the warm summer breezes send it's scent
of purple lilacs into the air
Carressing and feeling the soul mind
Giving way to night falls peering soft yellow glow...
As the rounded guilded moon, moves slowly
across the lightly, blue-gray clouded sky

Whispers of happiness, contentment are shared
with instant smiles and hugs
As nearby birdsongs and morning doves sing
of life and love...
Can such a dream be fullfilled...

I noticed that the style was different than your own.  But the poem is sweet and was a lovely present from your friend.  And yes I think that such a dream can be fulfilled.

Thank you EB and rwood for taking the time to read and comment.
No, it's not my style, but I wish I could write like he does. Free style poems I find hard to do.
I can't write poems without rhyme,
running around my head all the time.

Myyyyyyyyy, Karen!!!!!
How wonderfully descriptive and explicit!
I am deaf blind, and you make me see the colors and the Moon,
And take me to a place I really haven't been.
Pip punches through the triple barriers of Time, Circumstance and Space that separates us all apart.
Who would tell me all these things in person???
Thank you and thank to the mountain, which is also a living spirit.
