I looked at Indians in the wild plain And the wild bisons, I looked at the forest of eucalyptus and its precious greens, I looked at the grey elephants in Serengeti And their stormy defenses, I looked at the falls of IguaƧu and its bustles Of steel, I watched the Amazon River getting lost In the maternal milk of Brazil, I looked at the earth, at the wild earth, The uninhabited earth, the earth of the big trees, And I cried with trees, with rivers In the heart of the abandoned earth, I looked at Indians in the plain of past, Oh my God ,the earth was so beautiful, How can we plunder her and feeling No regret, We had no intelligence to love the earth Never we shall have the intelligence to recreate her. |

As long as there are people like you, dear Yann, there is hope. And more and more will become aware of the need to restore Nature's original balance, by demonstrating respect and love to all life. Highly significant write! Love, Margherita |

Oh, Yann, I wrapped myself up in the exquisite soul of Nature in your beautiful poem, especially the elephants of the Serengeti. Thank you for this. Owl |
