I awakened to spring wondering
if you still composed such masterpieces
as which resonated upon susceptible hearts
and out stretched wishes

I longed to feast anonymously
your newly emerged refrain
yet found only tormenting echoes
of past offerings
compositions that haunted unsuspecting
fools as I who knew not where to draw
lines or boundaries in matters of love

Then came summer
and with it a plethora of symphonies
rousing this hollow soul from vapidity
I wear mourning's cloak no longer
for you breathe

thereore,
