so we speak now of our mutual exclusivity
as it were the cashmere of cactus promiscuity
tightly bound to some other loather living

those lies of loaned out latter day love
when lovely was just flavored linseed liquor

and of spending our whims on women then
and spending our women on those whims also
when writing of our rights to writhe

about the eros that punctured our shirts
like arrows pricking our sinfilled beginnings

I adore this expression! It can refer to many situations.

Though I googled the names you mention and found out a few things, your mind runs too fast for me  ... but the view is fun always.

Love,

ms mar...john henry (doc) holliday (old western dentist, gambler, gunfighter) was known for his twisted outlook on things..this effort is using the liberty of poetic license to voice one of his suggested discussions with his friend wyatt earp. Thanks lady friend

Love the humor inside the serious...
and of course the word play is as always, intriguing

I think the idea of nursey rhymes from Doc, was the kicker for me though... just tied the whole of the idea into a bawdy sort of cynical reflection...

truly enjoy your words sir...and the talent behind them
