. There are circles In the water on the lake tonight The moon ripples animate In reflection Through the leaves One hears it seems the same wind As if nothing important has changed That’s how it is with dreams Or nights like these As if we never Left this place its youthful plans And confidence its stars sparkling In an open sky Well what’s the harm if I take your hand Hold you closer as I did before Who’s to care given now how old we are What still is there in each other’s eyes . |
