Blades of grass glean,the
sun shines brightly. Flower petals
bend down,snails clinging on tightly.
Delicate humming birds dart in for a sip,
taking in nature's bounty, through well
placed beak tip. Balanced in air, like
a breathing gyroscope, hanging
suspended by invisible rope.

This small wondrous garden,
a menagerie kept well.A thriving
oasis for small life to dwell.
A reprieve that exists from
the traffic near by,filled with colors,
and creatures, under clear azure sky.
In view of the neighbors for
them to admire, and for the
home dwellers, a gift to inspire.

This tiny refuge well protected
from the hustling world,
as all around chaos is churned up,
and swirled. The gardener on
instruction maintains what began,
from a simple design,a
straightforward plan.
For the best of what grows,
starts on a barren lot.
Brought to fruition,
when before there was naught.

Life is meant to be enjoyed, not just endured.

This is very lovely! Maybe the presentation could have been improved by shorter lines ...

It's inspiring when we can observe the magic that occurs in a garden and render it so nicely.

Love,
Margherita

Thank you everyone. I am very glad to share this vision of a garden with you. Thanks for the helpful critique Margherita, I think I'll be doing some editing. I too thought the lines were a bit long.

Regards,
