Sometimes my days are dark
and my nights are light...
if that makes any sense

and sometimes I quietly hark
till it comes into sight
what I've left to recompense.

But nevermind that,
past has passed.
Tonight as I sat,
I thought, "free at last!"

For I am loved until my death
and that's all anyone can ever hope for in life;
to breathe another's every breath,
to succeed at being the finest wife...

I admit I owe a debt
and eventually I'll pay it,
it's not so easy to forget
when every day I weigh it.

But in dark days and light nights
when things are so off-key,
I can still fly to heights
where only a bird should be,
and God keeps me in His sights.
I am loved and forever free.

"I am loved and forever free"

Freedom and Love. How can anyone ask for more?
You are very lucky, indeed!

Very nicely written. It is good to count one's blessings and thank the Almighty! Also, it is funny how in some better dreams we as humans can levitate and move around in that way so easily and naturally. Guess we here in this form have alot to learn.

Thanks again for a good and interesting read.

I enjoyed reading about your flights into the heights of serenity. When we dare to open our wings life shows its best face.

Beautiful, dear Dixie!

Love,
Margherita
