Up from the Pecos

Long waves of white stone
on a chaparral-strewn sea,
this west Hill Country.

Bright blue skies from stem to stern,
and there's a windmill turning.

Thanks to all for your gentle comments.

That country is beautiful, and I haven't been there as much as I'd like. However, the mountain cedar / juniper trees throughout the whole of Hill Country do cause a lot of allergy suffering from their pollen in wintertime, to folks in downwind places such as San Antonio, so it seems there's always something.
