I can always see your light
for it shines from a distance bright.
When I see you up close,my heart
strings pull tight,your essence so radiant,
such a comforting sight.
I will be alone tonight, but before resting,
I'll stay up to write. My thoughts of
your kindness, your strength and your might.
You will always win the fight.
You and I, are like two passing kites.
One controlled in strong winds,the other lost
in flight. If I like the later,
whisk to withering heights,
please remember you saw me,
and I'll be alright.

Life is meant to be enjoyed, not just endured.

I read this yesterday...and it gave me a melancholy feel and yet also a hopeful tinge. I love that ending!
