Looking through a window of feint memories. On a house made of feelings and lost hearts. Sometimes the answers are too blind to see. How and when we ever were tore so apart. The things lost in this house stand spaced in time. The walls painted inside with pain and heartache. I try to empty the thoughts that lay trapped in my mind. Of how I felt it was more than I myself could take. The carpets of this house lay in lies and defeat. The furniture I see frowns of all the cheated ways. The feelings in this house sometimes never sleep. And were doubtful at the most of seeing better days. I repainted the old house with a new color of love. I tore out the walls that scream and made a new. I've been graced with presence from the angels above. And I'm rebuilding this house just for you. |

What a nice poem. When I read it I saw a cold place emitting not so happy vibes, just like real places feel sometimes... I forgot you are talking about the space in your mind, your memories, not the actual home. Very nicely done! |

Thanks alot. I wrote this with an old relationship that fell through in the end and also about a new one I began. |
