I wrote the paragraphs to her smile.
The people sipped their wine
With the music playing
Like tangerines planted along the Florida isles.

My hands touched her thighs,
Gently, her black strapless dress,
Weaving the winds direction

And each time she got lost,
I waited.
My hand never left; never left her waiting for another cold night

She asked, "may I come with you tonight"
And to her credit, she was naive like a small tree in the middle of a large city.
To this day, she doesn't know how that question made me so happy.

The imagry in this was great...
Very cool poem

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting, "WHAT A RIDE

This poem has left a smile on my face at the moment, too.

I believe there may ba a few tangerines near the coast, but I have always considered lack of needed information somewhat of an affliction instead of a "credit." Although come to think of it, one does see what the author is getting at here---I guess that is what is meant by "endearing."
