Sitting here alone in the shadows of our lost love... Thinking about you, Hoping that your all right, Since you left to serve our country... The tears of sadness trickle down my face, I hid them from you so you would think I wasn't sad The memories of us flood my heart with never ending pain... The weight of my sorrow, Got me held down... Where I can't up The voices in my head, Keep me up at night... They are drivng me insane The thoughts of you leaving me, Got me sherching for the light... That you took away But the words that you said to me before you left, Are pushing me to live just one more day... Since you said that I was yours no matter what, You got me looking for that light you took away... I hope and pray to God that your ok, I know that your thinking about me.... Because of what you said, I just can't wait to hear "I love you" again.... So for December I wait, For your love will be all mine again! yes... my thanks to your man who serves, and to those who are left to wait with their life suspended.. both sacrifice a great deal to protect.. |
