You're always there to listen to me
When my day has been pure misery
You never judge, just sit and listen
As I wring out all frustration
You comfort and soothe as no one can
As I furiously rave and rant
You sit there with unfaltering smile
And even while I'm fuming, all the while
I know you'll be here to listen 'til the end
My wonderful, red, red, snuggly bear Fred.

Cute poem. Sounds almost like a nursery rhyme.

rare to find someone who can truly listen to your incessant ranting without reacting with negativity of their own.. whoever this person is, you are blessed that they are in your life.. many people could use someone like that

Thanks for the comments!

@Loveandlaughter Fred is quite literally a bear...of the teddy variety lol. I completely agree it's difficult to find someone who listens to you rant without judging or trying to offer advice. Sometimes when people rant to others, they just want to be heard, and aren't actually looking for advice, so that actually played a part in the conception of this poem.
