See the person you made yourself to be, inside that cage Are you sure you want to see what is inside, You better not look to closely at it into its eyes I know you're not sure of what side of the glass you're on, Do you see the safety in the life that you built? Everything is where it belongs, Feel the empty hollowness pain inside your heart And that is all? You left in mine too Why did you change the way you love me for? I guess you thing everything is where it belongs I don't know if you really loved me for sure or not But I know that I felt happy when you were mine, All the memories, and dreams, laughs, and bad times we shared We got though them, when you were strong, You gave me faith, when I was all out You gave me hope, when I was down? You gave me light, when I couldn't see? You helped me up, when I wasn't so strong, You were even stronger just so I wouldn't see that you were scared too You held me, when I wanted to give up and throw it all away I know now that you were scared, And you didn't want me to see the fear in your eyes Now we're running away from our hopes and dreams we made Just because we're not strong So now I don't know if what I'm going to do it right, But I want you to feel safe with me I want to be the one who is strong for you I want to say, I love you! And even if those words don't help, I just want to make things right? I may stumble and fall down that dark scary path, of fear But I know that somewhere inside you There is light of courage that wants to help save us And if you believe me I want to help kill that animal in that cage, That makes us say... Goodbye I want us to try again Let me hide that animal in that cage |

fear is a terrible thing...it destroy so much more by itself than the things we fear in some cases... yet, we are all afraid, and w all have our demons or our animals inside.. |

I like how straightforward and from the heart this is. I think it takes strength to write like that, because you're not inhibited by fear of what other people might think of it, or even if you are, you're able to just push right through that and write anyways, which is really impressive.  |
