An old man wanders
There's friendship in a bottle
As memories fade

Go softly to sleep
Let today's troubles just fade
Be your dream's hero

Once a bold hero
He wakens to empty rooms
An old man wanders

Maybe that's why old people enjoy their nap.

A sad vignette. Sometimes old hermits know what they're talking about, and sometimes they don't. Excessive need for sleep can be due to many reasons, too. As for dreams, a lot depends on the circumstances.

When I read this piece I had the distinct impression that I was reading it backwards. So, I read it backwards and it sounded just as good as it did forwards. I'm not sure if you were looking for this kind of result, but there it is. Thanks for the offering.
Peace
