last night

laugh light

I tossed the gravel-white

pebbles at your door

last night

I cried

you lied, to comfort her:

"See this woman's stalking me--
let me make a clean break, please..."

a towel swathed your loins, Ghandi.
I heard the rhythm of your feet
dance the steps in spiraling:

a-king

ka-chung

and flat foot thump--

slow

complacency

and lust

re-adjusted

commandjutant;

'She goes to work at four'

whispered

through the keyhold of the door

which keeps my palmprint

like the sore

that's never gonna heal.

reads well ma'am...your talent for the rythmic use of words and the imagery you paint, always has been a source of envy for me...

I look forward to each new read
