'Tis the words unsaid that betray my heart
And keep enslaved the sentiments of love –
For ‘tis the heart that feels and sets the chart
Of love’s true course - from mine to yours to rove,
Unbound and free of earthly strife and weight;
On wings of passion fly and draw a tie
Betwixt two hearts aligned by aim of fate,
Joined by single touch; linked by common sigh --
But locked beyond my lips remain the dreams
Of love unbound, of searing passion’s call,
As my heart in vain beats its muted screams
And within its cell shakes the crimson wall:
Then listen not to lack of words you hear --
Feel my heart instead; claim its crimson sphere.
