Perhaps in Hawai
charming dancers
make forget
Rainy tears?

Colored dancers
sway hips
In the sound of yukulélés
On the perfumed beaches.

Perhaps in Hawai
Would I go one day
Dip my feet
In orangy waves,

Perhaps in Hawai
Would I fly one day
To forget
My unhappy affairs.

Perhaps in Hawai
girls kiss you
To say hello
Or to say thank you.

perhaps in Hawai
The siesta lasts all the life
And we take boat
To visit iles.

Perhaps in Hawai
Would I go one day
to bring postcards
To those who remain hurt.

Would I go one day
On a raft of kisses
to embrace the sweetness
of living by your side.

I have never been to Hawaii, yann but my daughter and granddaughter went and said it was paradise. Hope you get to go.

Never been to Hawaii in person, nor Tahiti nor Fiji or any of those places. I did know some folks who toured the Hawaaiian Islands, and they said it was nice in some ways, but with some obvious problems, too.

An interesting write. Hope you get to go there sometime!
