afternoons were in buckets again
and you had your breasts on
like habits I was addicted to
carrying your every suggestion
to it's destination awkwardly

until I had not seen enough
and was ready to take my sunday best
back to some other peep show
that was just a dime a glance
below whispering lipstick invitations

but you said they were not real
like yours and what was behind them
there where you kept heart pieces
small ones like gravel you said
hard to put back together very easy

if a man was only there for the scenery
