Hye guys Im a newbie here and this is the very first poem I've ever wrote after living for 16years and I dont really know how to write one it is just random so please leave a comment.

The Endless Pain

I am sitting here all alone with
the pain in my chest
No one know how it feels to live with
thousands of misery, pretending to be happy,
faking each and every smile
trying to hide the truth eventhough
deep down inside my heart Im crying.

Dreaming and wishing
someone could end the pain,
Hoping for my dream to come true,
But I realized the fact that there is
no such thing as
"Dreams and wishes do come true"
and the only thing I know is
nightmare do come true and
the endless pain will remain..

Welcome to the Passions forums, Skilerz! I see from reading your profile that you reside in Malaysia, so a special welcome to one who is from a land far away (to most of us here, anyway).

This is a pretty good poem, in my humble opinion, and certainly gets the message of despair across. Your English language skills are good. Keep writing, please!

Hi Skilerz, this is a good first attempt. Welcome to Passions.

A poet must leave traces of his passing not proof.

Dear Skilerz,
I do not write much on here but I do come to read each day. These are kind and caring people with varying degrees of talent. Know, though, that no matter the skill their work will make you laugh, will comfort you and will warm your heart.

Hello Zeksler did I spell that right?
It is true that there are standard grammatical rules about punctuation and sentence structure, which you may be learning about in school.
However poetry is a fluid medium that requires stretching the standard rules of grammar and composition, so you can write hoever you feel up here and it is acceptable.
Your English composition teachers can help to write with clarity and skill.
Your dreams will come true.  Fantasies are what your future will be made of.  They will come true even if you don’t want them to.
And don’t let others talk them out of you.  Dreams are what keeps us alive, for without them, we die.
I am Dadygoose!
