It was a springtime day so peaceful,
With flowers painting the scene,
Like an artist's masterpiece painting
Making the canvas serene.

I was strolling thru the woodland,
Thru a meadow all sparkling with dew,
A Pond That Had No Ripples
Reflecting a sky so blue.

Beneath a willow perfect,
I was in awe at what I'd found,
A sleeping maiden cloth-less,
Motionless, not making a sound.

The pond's moisture was gently rolling,
From her hair down over her breasts,
Like the dew that falls each morning,
On a flower's petal to rest.

No words were ever spoken,
She gently opened her eyes,
She smiled with trusting emotion,
Hands covered her silken thighs

Her chest like golden temples
Tanned by the spring sunshine,
As I stared at her wondrous body
Her eyes were staring at mine.

I slowly knealt down beside her,
Touching her face so fair
We kissed each other so gently,
As I stroked her sun golden hair.

Kissing and hugging so softly,
Her hands were like feathered touch,
Her body as soft as a baby's
Our breathing increasing so much.

Tasting, touching, hearing,
All senses at work at one time
A maiden of endless beauty
And for the moment was mine.

An afternoon of loving
with kisses and sweet little nibbles,
As we drifted into sleep,
Next to The Pond That Had No Ripples.

This is the PG version of my post on the Adult behind closed doors forum. Not even positive this will fly here but we'll see.............................

well sir, I don't find anything in it offensive, but I'm not the judge.. ( chuckling)

nicely done Sir.. to my mind, evokes a serene sense of well being and of sharing.....

"...there should be some unknown regions preserved as hunting grounds for the poetic imagination." George Eliot
The sentiment is deep and well expressed. Bravo.

I still liked it better when the pond had no, nipples... but that's just me... :P

(that's a jokey joke folks)

Hey Toe, why you getting all soft on us these days?

No not that kind of soft, this foo foo kind of romantic lovey dove kind?

It wasn't enough that you were one of the funniest guys around here, now you have to be, Tender Toe The Titilating Tear Jerker...

That's just not fair son, I mean throw me a friggin bone here now and again okay?

My stuff is so low on the page, three more feet and you'll be able to read it in China.

Hey... maybe in another language it will make more sense though... nevermind!

This was quite beautiful and a treat to read.  It left me with a picture that I will carry with me on the way to work today.  It is a good thing I ride the subway.

Well, I'll bet that you and the maiden could make love while floating on the surface and the pond still wouldn't have a ripple!

Nice fantasy, Toe....all you have left, I know, but you do it well

Liked this. It shouldn't have to be a fantasy, although even those mature weeping willows don't have lockable zippers.

Yea, I have your "fantasy" right here Bally...

Richy, I've tried other languages, redneck, bama, hostile, I speak profanity fluently?

Thank you all for the kind and sweet replies. I liked the original post alot better but it is X rated for sure.

You know I've always loved the original version. *S* But this softer, more romantic version is absolutely beautiful in its own right! *S*
