Everyday as I sit here,
There is nothing to do.
But, I sit here anyway.
I start thinking.
Thinking about my life,
And what I never did.
Then I start missing the old days.
Missing the high school,
And all the people in it.
I forget that I’m here
And I slip into my memories.
I remember my friends,
Girlfriends, the teachers,
And that I had very few enemies.
They were always there for me.
At times I feel like just crying,
But, there are no more tears to cry.
Before I got here,
I never realized how much
I truly had.
But now that I have nothing,
I think of those things.
And I want to go back.
Then I snap back into reality
And I realize,
That I will never,
Be able to go back.
So I push on,
And hope, for the very best.

We can never go back but we have to keep pushing forward.  And you know what, even with all the horrible curve balls that life may throw at us at times this thing called life is precious.  So please make the most of it.
