Somehow

The moon smiled sideways
as your face melted atop mine
blocking the diamond dream
panther scream
fury of night.

It was then
that you became my universe
shielding all instance of existence
aglow.

Except for the stars
that shined through the scars
and burned in the oceans of hope
through your eyes.

Come to me
so my hands may see you glisten
and  glimmer.

Wash on me
so ears can smell you  gasp.

Grind on me
so that rock can turn to rain.

As mountain rivers make love
to the salt of  shame
in those that will not sea.

I am the tethered slave
to err and sky
for lust of earth and things
not tried

How can the wind
be at the end
when each step is the
beginning.

How sad we are
when days are long
until we meet those,
who have few.

It was never going
to be about the fate
of how to love.

As much as it was
going to be
how much we are not
loved.

Yes I may perish
in  plunder and plight
and see not  longer
fights of day.

But words I hope
I’ve carved in hearts
will somehow,
somehow
find their way.

Oh god Helen, you make my heart laugh, cry, and smile everytime you say something like that.

How do you do that??

Thank you sweet friend!!
