you and your most special presentations
those smiles with that chap stick shimmer
and a kiss muffled suggestion after
it was always quite amazing you said

how our mouths seemed to be the same
like little fish feeding on windows
when we wanted to say bad words together
before our body places made us speechless

and we dove into each other's oceans
searching for those hidden treasures again
finding them too, just like we left them
the last time we crashed into each other

melding our coves and coveting the waves
that would erode our proper composures
chapping our lips with that panting polish
that turned our sands into glass eventually

taking our quiet contentment into foreclosure

Your inspiration is as ancient in tone
as are your metaphors of glass and sand,
and as we know, not all glass is clear,
as not all sands become glass, so your
sandy words are always special, as they
always allow some glimpse into a process
that precedes human intervention...

so please, continue to write in the sand,
as I am a collector of glass.

Not only the above quoted, but every line has its own charm. Now isn't that a lovely mood to be in !

You cause sighs, you know!

Love,

I know my comments must be tedious but you are the master of the line.  `How our mouths used to be the same ... like little fish feeding on windows`  What a line!
