In this world So dark and gloomy People don’t know how it feels. How it feels to keep everything locked inside, Every emotion, every thought With no one to talk to. Everything gets jumbled up And comes out wrong. Most of the time it is a great anger Followed by a great depression. Then with new worries forming I just sit and think. Will I lose her forever? Will things last between them? Or will there be another chance for me to show how I feel? I’m scared of what may happen And of a love that will go unnoticed. I’m scared for the first time in my life, in a manner, That I may truly be alone forever. I do have people that care But not in the way That I want or need them to. I need to be able to show my love In such a way that it will be unconditional And noticed by everyone. I need the person that I was And not the person that I am. The person that I am scares everyone, Including myself. And no one needs me the way that I am They need me the way that I was, Only then will I be recognized. And loved the way that I want to be loved. |
