TIME

This day is happy
for nothing though gold coins of
sunlight bounce off the air
the three phases of time are
all one white field: the present

love, honey gold on
the tongue, split-second orgy
brief as the hawk’s light
shadow, blessing all that flies,
birds’ wings bending to what’s asked

though I only fly
with mind the day stays behind
the moment changing
into slow evening pastures
where tomorrow never waits

Excellent, excellent. All good, yet I think my favorite here is the shadow of the aerie... a true lesson in time.

How enthralling! Wonderfully creative.
