I could hear her fingertips peeking sometimes as if the keys were windows and she was looking just to see if I was the stone she left behind to gather moss on one of my better sides I never was that lover in all of those photos or the hound she imagined was chasing her tail mostly my friends were the fences between us and those highways that went our different ways I wasn't part of her latest collection of men that were better off being cards she could play sometimes old maidish I suspect or perhaps pickup just to turn them over and see their faces after when they traded their love ends for her beginnings _____________ daark (maid in mexico series) |

You are clever in your phrases. You write she left me behind like a stone to gather moss on my better side. I also liked the part where you write about your friends being the fences between you. You had better watch out or Tarantino will steal some of your lines. |
