The sunlight is bright,
Too bright for the likes of me
One who prefers dark
A being of the deep night,
Let darkness set free
To not be enslaved to day.

Brightness makes my eyes to weep
So I close them to shallow sleep.

I’m busy in night
Which is accepting of me,
It asks not my face
Hiding from casual sight,
Cools the inside me,
Chills the emotions away.

I love things I can read and think to myself "Yea, that's me."

Awesome.
