Listening to every heart

0 posted 2010-06-13 03:30 PM

Silence

Was the first noise
following late night and
early morning’s down-pouring
of gun-shell raindrops,
now lessening from slate-metal skies

and a peering through
streaming windows provided me
a view of rain logged tears
upon my seven foot towers
of pink, black, red and white
hollys that now pleaded with me.

Blessing the ground, they were.

Listen to nature
my mind said. But in accordance
with the sun, my mind sometimes
is in agreement with my heart…
Lift them up!
My heart shouted.

So I did.

Thank you Karilea, for always doing to us what you did to those pretty flowers.

We bless the ground too. The fertile soul from which your tender thoughts arise and inspire.

Happy gardening my friend!

them summer storms and the downpours can be hard on the gardens...and on people...

nice to gaze on your words again ma'am...

Beautiful flowers dear Karilea that to look

upon them does lift up the spirits, lovely words to match. A big hug.
