              Not to be Beaten

Four middle aged ladies had a rendezvous one day,
They hadn’t seen each other for thirty odd years,
They had all been great friends in the days of their youth
But now each other’s history was much in arrears.

They were all very excited each other to see
And reminiscing was soon in full swing,
The four of them had a great story to tell,
As each was now wearing a gold wedding ring.

They were all happily married with a family too
And were soon swapping stories about their kids,
Both boys and girls were all in even supply,
They stated they wouldn’t be without them for quids.

The first lady said that her oldest son had done well,
For he had studied to become the local priest,
It was the local parishioners who now called him Father.
For he’d much rather stay in his own diocese

The second lady said that her son had also done well
And when the Archbishop died her son took his place,
He is very well liked and held in great respect,
When his parishioners address him they call him ‘Your Grace’.

The third lady said her son was also a man of the cloth
And right from his youth he’d been a person of prominence,
He’d climbed the tree of success & now was a Cardinal
And all his parishioners now called him Your Eminence.

They all had a very satisfied look on their face,
As they turned to the fourth lady, her story to tell,
She sat there quietly smiling, not saying a word,
Quickly losing patience the others said, well.

Well I don’t want to trump the success of your sons
But my son is the answer to a fair maidens dream,
He is tall and good looking, like a statue in bronze
And his bearing and demeanor is really supreme.

He’s a hit with the ladies for a stripper is he
And from adolescence the pathway to success he has trod,
He’s extremely well endowed and not a bit shy,
When they see him standing naked they all say,
My God.

Dang Lindsay, I told you not to tell anyone about me being a stripper and, my other, endowments (!)

Oh well, that's okay.

Hey, you wouldn't happen to have a studded leather thong I can borrow would you, I've got a performance in five minutes?

This was naughty my friend.

I likee...

I appreciate your sense of humor and your ballad-like style so appropriate  to your subject matter.
