Bones life is filled with violence.
Violence is all he’s ever known.

From his beginning
Bones was born to violence.

Violence has made Bones
hard and strong.

Bones himself is very violent.
That’s just the way it is.

With proper care and love any violent person can change Bobby. Hope Bones does too.

Thanks Prasad,

Yes, what you say is true.  Bones has improved a lot, and is now doing very well.

Thanks for your concern for Bones.

Violence begets violence. Sometimes its just too difficult to break the cycle.  We tell kids that they always have a choice in their behavior, but we sometimes fail to recognize that they don't always know all their choices. That as children, they do not possess the skill set necessary to make a non-violent choice when faced with such behavior. By the time they become adults, the die has been cast.  However, I believe that Bones has enough character to break the mold should he choose to. Peace to you and Bones.

Thanks Andrew,

I can buy into what you're saying.

Bones gave up his violent behavior many years ago.  Bones is now a certified Pussy-Cat.

Bobby I'm so pleased that Bones has changed

his outlook. No one gains from violence.

He'll be much more popular as a pussy cat.

Oh, well, hope they aren't packing. I am reminded of the parable of the unforgiving servant. Your poems do cause me to at least attempt to "think" a little... although I am told a little thought can be a dangerous thing.

I have noticed that time takes care of violent tendencies pretty well. Either we learn or we wear out.

It is good that Bones has renounced violence.  But it is true that those who are subject to violent treatment often become violent themselves.  I think that is the message of this poem.

Thanks Earl,

What you say is often true.  Violence runs in families, they think that's just the way it's done.
