          epithalamions lost

Perhaps the very best poem is the
last blank page by frosted moonlight,
in these empty rooms of mirrors
  reflecting only
the heavy cloak of dim mortality
  and finely crafted illusions.
Solitude dons the guise of peace
where love has shed its deadly-soft skin
  of permanence.

This poem has something very "Zen" about it -- the blank page in the moonlight, etc. I love your minimalist approach. Your poem is like a work of modern art with a very subtle message.

Epithalamions...had to look the word up, so I learned something while reading this extraordinary poem.
