too much racket

quiet morning ruined
by continuous John Deere
birds won’t even sing

I understand this only too well, but -- I have to admit, I laughed at the John Deere.

Love you,

That kind of noise can really be disturbing, you are right, but works done also are gratifying. And the birds will sing again.

Well said!

Alison and Margherita, thank you for reading my small senryu and replying!
The neighbor behind us is running his darn front end loader every single morning. Not sure what he is doing down there as I can't see threw all the woods and steep hill. But, he's driving us crazy first thing in the morning until dusk. This has been going on for weeks and weeks.
Too much racket!
