Storm clouds are quickly gathering
Thunder rolling, yet you stand fast
You see your life passing you by
With each rumble and lightning flash

Heat rising from the barren earth
As the rains begin to soak in
And thoughts of yesterdays lost
Weigh so heavy on your mind

In the chaos there is a stillness
Resonating impulses you sense and hear
Vibrations from your heartbeat
Echoing endlessy in your ear

The past you cling to so tightly
Is slowly torn from roots asunder
And the future uncertain and bleak
Awakens to loves glorious wonders
