sometimes goodtimes sally on sunday
they speak of her there in leather
at the fine and dine by the windows

how she was the evening kind of girl
that took all that was offered
and would wait around for  even more

usually there was a price attached
and on occasion she made donations
until the smug girls spoke ill of her

and wondered how she could be so easy
without even batting the lid of an eye
until it was mentioned in matters of fact

how she had never become a congress person
or a mayor or president of anything
and that her morals were above most mostly

as she was selective who she made dreams with

It's all in the choices we make... and whether we can live with them or not.  An enjoyable read.

It's all about how morals are laid...out.

You're still twisting words well, Sir.

Write on.

Such a subtle portrait of a woman who "is selective of who she made dreams with". Your eyes and your pen are fantastic partners.

I like how your poetry wraps around my brain and makes me think and smile.
