I would be more inclined to adore those crashing songs
or our planets in the bowl of their own milk
pluto and sun perhaps bobbing for position there
somewhere just below the gasping surface on purpose

and I wonder from the vantage point or proper linen
how many of your smug white shirt pockets would soil
before you realized my ink was way more insatiable
then it was washable, no matter the amount of scrubbing

and would you join me in the eventual partial nudity
of only wearing our tattoos and the shimmering residue
where we slipped our oars into someone's murky pond
and pressed our blended initials into their muddy under

or would you continue your high heeled helpless laddering

Now y'see? You rendered me slotless.

No tattoes, I can barely wear shoes, much less heels--so I am totally sans smug.

*pout*

enjoyed the peek, though. (Is there flesh colored ink to rid me of my scars?)

naw...nevermind. I think I'll keep 'em.
