You wrote me a letter
Inside, His name
Yet I know all your secrets
I know your shames
I'm in love with your beauty
Spiritual's the name

Thorns sting me
They riddle my side
I ignore the feeling
Take it all in stride
Learn to be like stone
Hold the pain to the core

You see- It might not work
No matter how hard I wish it to be
It may be a death for you and me

As many would say,
You are the wind beneath my wings,
Yet I prefer to say,
You are the sun,
Shining light on the better things.

"Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it."

"Hold faithfulness and sincerity as first principles."

-Confucius

I love this part it rings so true.

Thorns sting me
They riddle my side
I ignore the feeling
Take it all in stride
Learn to be like stone
Hold the pain to the core
