I can read you like a book
My fingers pouring over your lines
Reading every feel of your surface
And imprinting you there within my mind

Seeing you only by touch
Feeling all you have to teach
Wanting to dive in to your story
As my fingers deftly beseech

I see you as a flame in the dark
Blind to all else in the world without
There is calm within this storm
I translate the words from finger to mouth

If only you could feel my steady hand
Moving swiftly, naked and savage
To the tune of this garden in delight
Your words leave me all but ravaged

You express more than thought in this way
To me, when I caress with fingers for eyes
You always leave a long lasting feeling
That like words, I can mentally visualize

A most excellent piece of writing.
