And the hard part
of those soft places
Whose textures change
In the touching
To thought’s caress
Fill with longing to
Take leave of fantasia’s keep
Of sweet satin sinned sheets
To revel in the abandon of
Once abandoned dreams
Reappearing prophetic

The hard part of those soft places...indeed!
  Nicely done.

O! Where this takes me!  Where you take my imagination.  My eyes ... the caressing of thoughts my thoughts.  I don't really have the words to say how this makes me feel.
Welcome to Pip!!!!

O dear one!
This is very errotic, and in such a deep and wholesome way.  It speeks of longing and abandon.  I like the part about caressing thoughts.
We did an exercise in Lit Class on how to explicate a poem, a way to discern its intent.  But I can’t tell you where this poem takes me. I don’t know you and it would be a bit embarrassing.  But I long for a friendship in which there is absolute honesty, nothing is embarrassing and explicit fantasy can demand full expression in reality.

This is like ...

peering into an uninterrupted thought;
a place special of only two
of one mind...

a very special , indeed.

Well done, Eusta.

Gracious sakes! You all are so generous in your praise! I'm really blown away. (Jamie you make me feel like I'm cooking your goose! LOL! ahem...blushing here.) Thanks for the feedback.

I take this like Daddygoose does, and see the longing of wanting to revel in abandon and take pleasure within, for pleasure's sake.
Or something like that.
