As the stars fall from the sky
Down upon the blue and silent world
I wipe the sleep from my eye,
I don’t know the reason why,
All the memories are of that girl

Every sight and sound, taste and touch
Comes cascading through a thickening haze
Everything that ever meant so much
Every dream of senseless things and such
Forever seen through these nights and days

And if I ever dared to see
Those things which I try to hide
All I ever was and all I ever longed to be
Is now coming back to me
A part I thought had finally died

Into the blue I fall into
No rhyme nor reason
No change of season
Into the bluest of blue
