Here I am
inside
my assigned container,
looking out
on the world,
watching you.
Seeing more than
you think I do.
Absorbing, learning,
categorizing.
Temporarily on duty.
When I am finished
I will close my journal
on this lifetime
and take it with me
when I leave...
for future reference.

Yo dear Ida,

Sometimes, not always, it is wise to break out of our assigned container.

You experience more of the world’s good and bad that way.

Love Bobby

Sometimes, no, always, It is best not to assume that others haven't experienced plenty of good and bad.

I guess the mark of a good poet is to leave an impression upon others.  This left its mark on me.

Oh snap, I better draw my curtains!!

"when I leave...

A wonderful poem full of mystery and innuendo. Very subtle. Leaves the reader hungry for more.
