if one yesterday
is offered to me by a wand,
to suddenly appear,
would it be the first time
i ever made love--
no, of course not!
would it be the first time
i met "----"
and she knew and i knew
and we immediately embraced

..i'm suffering, here, trying
to decide...perhaps, i'm wishing
for a day yet to come,
to relive--
yes, that must be it
i'm a gready sort
i've been lucky enough
to have Heavens proven to me
i've felt the bite of wildcats
in my sleep,
i've experienced things
others only dream about
and, in a second, suddenly forget
and, yet, i'm holding out for more...

please forgive me O Creation
i must be more grateful than that

..so please, now, please believe me:
every moment means a lot
but i'd love to relive the moments
that time I made love to *----*
and the doors of Heaven swung open
and what transpired stayed with me
like from a time-release capsule
to, frame by frame, make me aware
of the miraculous things
awaiting me
if only i stay true-hearted**

Well you definitely have the muse upon your shoulder, for on the fly suits you well. I liked the feeling of this one. Peaceful memories to you.

The longing, despair and regrets of the poet are also experienced by the reader vicariously.

met "----"

these lines with "----" are mysterious, I want to know the name or person.

the suspense drives the reader crazy.

take care
